Thompson Diabetes Travel Carry-All

Purchased for my Kindergartener

I bought this for my 5 year old son to carry around his supplies in school.

I love the size. Big enough to carry everything you could possibly need in an emergency but small enough to not overpower him.

My only complaint is the zipper "tassels" that say myabetic. They are big and clunky. Also, I would of liked to put a Type 1 Diabetes charm on the zipper that held Glucagon. So in the event of an emergency adults aren't fumbling threw looking for it.

The material is nice because it's sturdy and easy to keep clean. However, I tried to "kid" it up by putting stickers on it and the material isn't going to hold them long.

What we carry in it:
-Omnipod Meter/Remote
-Test Strip bottle
-Insulin Vial
- 2 Insulin Pens
-Batteries
-Glucagon
-2 4oz juice boxes
-Omnipod extra Pod
-Portable Charger and wire
-Dexcom/Omnipod Overlays
-Bandaids
-Tissues
-Alcohol Pads
-Lancets
-Pen Needles

And there's STILL so much room and it's not condensed.

Great case, ok zipper.

This case is great, lots of rooms for insulin, meter, test strips, etc. Even room for snacks and trash from strips. The zipper failed after about 18 months. I'm not sure how long zippers typically last but I was hoping to get to at least 2 years. I've had zippers on backpacks that see daily use last much longer.
