Myabetic was created to transform the diabetes image. After her own diagnosis, founder Kyrra Richards struggled to manage her blood sugar and confidence. She kept her diabetes secret because she was afraid to be associated with a negative stereotype. Kyrra created Myabetic to change this perception. Designed to improve the diabetes lifestyle, our products represent the strength and beauty of our community. Together, we will control our health with style.

I really love my new wallet! Everything fits, so convenient to have everything together!
I absolutely love my wallet! It looks sleek from the outside and when you open it up it has all the gadgets I need! I would suggest a flap in the middle with slots for cards, only thing I’t’s missing!!
Within a real good time!
Love the product. It's nice to be able to carry flex pens and my meter together in one contraption that is a bit more classy than the standard. A couple recommendations, however.
1. The strip of velcro on the back of the removable pouch (for used test strips, etc.) could be longer to create a bit more stability when not wanting to remove the pouch. Why? When trying to open the pouch to put something in it, the pouch moves instead of the zipper moving. If the velcro reached from end to end instead of just a small square in the middle, it would be much easier to open the pouch with one hand when simply putting something inside and would provide more stability when not intending to remove it.
2. The pocket for holding the meter and lancing device could benefit from an accordion fold in each of the short ends. Why? The face of the pouch is flexible and opens up like an envelope which is enough to get the items out. However, the flaps immediately close back up and get resealed by the velcro due to the limited flexibility. If an accordion fold were added to the short sides there would be greater ease of accessing and returning items to the pouch (often also done one handedly) without it inadvertently closing before finished.
Perhaps these specificities will become less cumbersome with time and adjustment to developing new rote motor tasks, but as a new user these would be my points of feedback.
Thanks for a great product!
My daughter and I were thrilled with the banting wallets (my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 19 years ago at the age of 3 and I was diagnosed a month ago with type 1 diabetes). We will definitely be placing more orders in the future.
