I was impressed by the quick shipping and service even to Taiwan! This was my first order from Myabetic and I was so happy to see the quality of the Edelman backpack. It has strong zippers and clips and will help me stay well organized! I was so happy with the order and the quality that only an hour or two after I opened the box I went back online to order another purse! I have been a type one diabetic for 24 years and this is the first time I’ve owned a product like this that felt like it was designed just for me. Thank you!
I love that I can use the Edelman bag as either a backpack or a cross-body. It has become my go-to bag!
I am in love with this backpack! It’s so amazing to see how the diabetic community has come together and have created things like this for those of us within the diabetic community. I have had type 1 diabetes for six years now and I’ve been waiting for something like this! It’s truly amazing and the design of the backpack is awesome and very efficient. It’s not too bulky and it has made me very happy so far. :) <3
The color was great. The size is perfect for my laptop. Other necessities can be carried in it.
I bought the Riviera blue/pink for my 1st grader to take to school. It's not too big for her to carry. She will wear the crossbody around school wherever she goes. (Last year she used an insulated lunch box for her diabetes supplies.) I love this idea, but it needs some improvements. For Edelman 2.0, please consider the following design changes: 1.) Move the D-rings on the crossbody up as high as possible. When full, the crossbody doesn't hang correctly (it flops over). This should be do-able. 2.) Move the ID card slot. Its current position makes it impossible to monogram the backpack. 3.) Add an ID card slot to the back of the crossbody (that's what I really don't want to lose...the diabetes supplies!). 4.) Because of the hooks for the crossbody, there isn't a water bottle holder on the outside. Add thick velcro to one side on the inside of the backpack to keep a water bottle upright (to keep it from leaking). Or, add a pouch for a water bottle on the inside. Side note: this would be a great diaper bag option if you have a little T1!
